Hey there everyone, just thought id post my rig on here as iv spent a far bit with Lockedup and cant complain about anything. good quailty and priceing.
Anyway my rig started is life as a 86 4runner until i got my hands on it.
First thing i did was rip the old body off and every thing else too for that fact, then i was left with just the chassis rails.

Then i fitted the injected 5lt auto with twin case using the trail gear duals adaptor. this was all moved backwards on the chassis 6 inches for better weight balance.
Once the engine was fitted it was time to make the suspension mounts, it now runs 18inch race runner shock. The rear chassis was remanufactured from behind the cab.

It was now time for the new cab to go back on, So i fitted a 93 single cab to the chassis again moved it back on the rails 6inches.
The front diff is an 80 series fitted with longfields and factory electric locker. Rear diff id a standard hilux.
Once the cab was in place i just had to test the flex by using the shed roof and block and tackle.

Then it was time to paint it and again out came the flouro Green paint.
Once it was painted it was time for more testing. So i decided to drive over the dooner car for the engine and gearbox.
Now its running sweet bring on tuff trucks 2010.
Since its been running and iv been out wheelin iv found a few things that needed to be adjusted or replaced. I now run the Marlin total spline input shafts as the OME one just keep breaking had no troubles yet since they have been fitted.

Iv had the same steering arm on this diff now for 3 years or so, over 2 different trucks. They have never bent but they are modified and braced as well ill try to remember to take a pic this weekend of them closer to show you.

was braking transfer case input shafts, but thanks to LOCKTUP 4x4 they organsed a marlin total spline input shaft to arrive at my door within a week of ordering it and havent had issues since. But i havent had a great deal of driving time since then. I have a comp at the end of november which will put the drivetrain to the test. Let you know after that.
