Mine wouldnt be half as good as it is without your input. Hopefully more to come with my new project. 99 Dual Cab Lux Lifted & Locked 88 4Runner Project

Well finally pulled the bodylift out so now the fun begins. So far I have to rear mount the radiator and fans. It also look slike I may have to sell the tray and build a new one as it may be too hard to modify

Well the bonnet closes and the engine and driveline clear. So I wont have to mod any of that, Brooksy is coming by tonight to see what we can do with the tray. Hopefully we can modify it and just mount the radiator and batteries on it.

Hey Boof, I'm guessing since you have removed the flares you will be chopping the guards to retain the flex, or will you still be able to run with them on ??

I found that my tyres (36 x 13.5 iroks) rubbed more with the body lift in, as when the wheel would travel up it would hit the lip of the guard where now it just tucks up nicely. They rub a little bit when it really flexes out, but I'm not running any bump stops.

The flares will be staying off, originally it was to cut the guards but after looking at it I shouldnt need to cut much at all. I am going to run a scrub bar style flare so that I can rub it against rocks and trees without damaging the guards as much. Brook has said he can mod the tray also so that will hopefully get started on the weekend with me doing some cutting. Chris I was looking at it last night and actually thought the same thing myself, about the tuck. I will no doubt find out soon enough, I want to get the tray modded and back on with the radiator and batteries in the tray. After that I have to mod the sliders and start on the front bar and guards.

Does that do any damage?? it hasn't yet, but it can damage your shocks and springs don't really like being inverted too much, so it is best to fit them.

I got some better pics of it without the bodylift. Finally got the tray off after denting the Lux trying to do it on my own I waited for some help. The rear is the height I am aiming for, once I get the front bar on I will work out what length shackles I will need to lower the front to the same height. Due to a bender and welder in the next fortnight , I wont have the money for gears or winch until next year If I can get it to the height I am aiming for I probably wont have to trailer it either. At this stage the exo is on hold until I work out which way to go. With no exo I will probably refit the snorkle and make a new airbox up with my new tools
